About Indra Robinson
I have always been more interested inwhat something could becomethan in what it is supposed to be.
How I think
People have always brought me things. A story, a problem, an idea they cannot get off the ground, a business that has outgrown the way it runs.
I listen for what it could become, and I usually start to see a route. I like problems, especially the ones where the current process is broken, outdated, or needlessly complicated. There is usually a better way. If it does not exist, I build it.
I work backwards.
Most plans start at the beginning. I start at the end.
The outcome
What could this become at its best?
The route
What actually gets us there? If the obvious path is broken, find another.
The first step
The simplest version that works, built so it can grow.
What I care about
I am drawn to people who are very good at something and have never considered what it could become.
A skill, a craft, or hard-won knowledge can become a business, a product, a class, or another source of income. Watching someone see that possibility for the first time is my favorite part of the work.
Technology matters, but it comes second. Systems, automation, and AI should take the administrative weight off people, so they have more time for judgment, craft, and connection. AI should make the human bigger, not smaller.

The languages I speak.
I grew up in Aruba, have lived internationally, and am now based in Texas. Moving between languages, cultures, and places has made me comfortable with something I already tend to believe: there is rarely only one way to look at a problem.
In practice
I do not describe this work from a distance. I build my own companies this way.
Each one solves a different part of the same larger problem, and each keeps me close to the real work of building with entrepreneurs and business owners.
